Identity Theft?

The other day I got a call from Dave's debit card company stating that they wanted to insure there had not been a case of identity theft as there had been some suspicious purchases with his card. I volunteered to go over his most recent purchases with them to identify any malfeasance. Purchase #1, Winchell's doughnuts. Check, Dave's breakfast. Purchase #2, sundry items at the gas station. Check, Dave's Diet Pepsi and dinner. Purchase #3, evening at the motocross track. Check, Dave's exercise for the day. Nothing too suspicious, just a day in the life of Dave post the end of the Relief Society bringing in meals. I confirmed the purchases and then started to envision the debit card company's idea of the would-be thief with the suspicious purchases.

Something like this.

Instead of this, my uber cute husband.

I think it is time to start taking care of my man again. Any quick and easy recipes you can suggest?

Hilarious post! I do have a family favorite recipe which is pretty simple and good.

Sticky Chicken

You cut up the chicken, brown it.

In a sauce pan put in a bottle of Catalina dressing, a small jar of apricot jam, and and a package of onion soup mix. Mix together let it simmer on the stove for a while for sauce to thicken, put chicken in for it to warm up and then you are done! Pretty simple.

Usually we serve on top of rice. The fam loves it.

This post totally made me laugh. You are hilarious1 Hopefully I'll see you tomorrow night at Brooke's for crockpot cooking. I'm hoping to walk away with at least one good recipe. Here's one easy one for you -- bottle of salsa and chicken breast. Put chicken breast in crockpot, pour salsa over it. Waalaah. Can put on rice or use as taco meat. Yummy!

hilarious...you never know - picture #2 may look like picture #1 someday!

One of my new favorite recipes sounds a little crazy, but is good. You put meatballs (I always use pre-made frozen ones, and I used turkey meatballs last time and it was yummy) in a crock pot with 1 can of grape jelly and 1 can of chili sauce for 5-6 hours (sounds crazy) and I serve it over rice and with any veggie. Super easy and yummy!

But I'm always in need of new recipes, so I'll be checking back.

HA! Too funny! And yes, Dave is uber cute :-)

As far as easy recipes go...my best suggestion has the word "easy" in it. It's called Easy Mac. Um, yeah, speaking of white trash...we are right here in Texas!
