Last night, Dave came running in the house yelling, "Tara, grab the camera!". Which is code for come as quickly as you can with Cannon in your hand, Claire is doing something exceptionally cute. Come to think of it, when is the last time someone said "Grab the camera!" and came to take a picture of you. Maybe that is why Claire is confident and self-assured, it must feel pretty fine to be the center of so much adoration. Anyway, I ran outside and saw Claire taking a dip in what Dave called her "Ghetto Pool". She was so adorable I couldn't resist posting these pics.
Remember when I said I didn't want to have one of those blogs where you only talk/brag/post pics about your kids, well, this is the point that I eat crow. I am officially one of those bloggers that only talks/brags/posts pics about my kid. I just can't resist, my little Claire is the biggest charm, most of the time (refer to Exorcist post). I promise I will attempt to post a thought-provoking non-Claire centered post in the near future, unless Dave comes yelling, "Tara, grab the camera!"
Claire in her swimming pail finding joy in small spaces.
Trying to squeeze the five-pound diaper into that small space.
At some point--thanks to the five-pound diaper--clothes just became too burdensome.

okay that little girl is growing up! She is so adorable I cannot believe how much she has changed just over the summer!Keep posting pics because we miss you!
I LOVE it!!! :) And is that your backyard? Looks like the perfect size... not too big, not too small.. from the limited view I see anyway. Isn't amazing the things these little ones even consider squeezing into? Thanks for taking (and posting) the pictures... simply adorable! Can't wait to see more of her.
Hope all is well.
I love how creative kids get when left to their own devices!
I don't mind the bragging posts! I love babies and kids. They are cute and do the darnest things. I also like seeing pictures and seeing her grow. I feel like I have a sense of who Claire is eventhough I have not met her in person.
she is too cute! and I love the ghetto pool!
Is this the only place to get cool where you live?
you are such a skeptic! j/k that was cannon's first reaction with the video too! glad to hear its legit : )
Love the ghetto pool. We have a picture of MeKensey soaking in a mop bucket of dirty water. Perhaps a bit more west side, but with the same happy look on her face.
I personally hope you keep up the photos or your Claire, it helps us to feel part of your life. She is so precious and every child should have a ghetto pool.
Clair is getting so big and cutter every time I see her. I love the make shift pool, i think i need to invest. It was fun having you guys here for a while. can't wait to see you for the holidays
Tara,
Those that love you are always excited to see your children and what is most important to you. It makes a connection not made in any other way; we much enjoy it.

HILARIOUS! I'm dying laughing!...and so is my sister-in-law, Ang, as she's looking over my shoulder! I Love, love, love the ghetto pool! You cheap-skates! ;)
LOL! Hilarious. I can't believe how much she's changed even since the last time you were here! Hurry back! She's growing up too fast. And yet it's going to blow our minds in another few months when she's outgrown that little bucket already and has to move on to bigger ghetto pools-- like, I dunno, turkey roasting pans? Or you could just invest in those wacky new things... what are they called? Oh, right: a kiddie pool. ;)
You can, of course, post anything you want, but my favorites include pictures and stories of Claire. Love this post!
When your hot, it doesn't matter where you go to cool off! That is an adorable pic of Claire. Keep the kiddie posts coming!
